WVU Honors College students help MBRCC staff prepare materials for community outreach

A group of 14 WVU Honors College students rolled up their sleeves this Friday to help MBRCC staff in Cancer Prevention and Control prepare materials for various community awareness and education events. The students were among 750 honors students participating in service projects campus wide as part of an initiative coordinated by the WVU Center for Service and Learning. "This day of service freed up many hours for my administrative and professional staff this month; time that would have been spent preparing materials for distribution to our out-stationed staff was focused on other grant deliverables,” Stephenie Kennedy, EdD, director of Cancer Prevention and Control, said. “We truly appreciated the assistance from this wonderful group of students."
