Toothman Ford of Grafton provides chase car for Bonnie's Bus
Toothman Ford in Grafton is teaming up with the Bonnie Wells Wilson Mobile Mammography Program (Bonnie’s Bus) to help spread the word about the Bus as it travels across West Virginia providing mammography services to women in the communities where they live. The dealership generously donated a chase car for Bonnie’s Bus and unveiled the specially designed vehicle during a ceremony this week at Toothman Ford.

The Animal Models and Imaging Facility and the Microscope Imaging Facility will host Picture Perfect: Where do I begin?
Join the Imaging Facility for a discussion on where to begin when undertaking a new project or technique. Event will be held in the Erma Byrd Conference Room (Room 201) at 2PM on March 24. We plan to cover the resources available in the imaging facilities and in addition, we have put together some information on other resources that are available around WVU, especially the HSC. Questions about specific projects and problems are welcome!

Non-perishable food needed for Food for Thought Drive
The MBRCC is a collection site for the Food For Thought Drive hosted by the Biomedical Science Graduate Student Organization to benefit children at Watson Elementary School. The school needs non-perishable foods for evening and weekend meals that are child-friendly or easy to prepare. See the flyer on the collection box in our Document Center (Room 1621). Please put your donations in the collection box by March 31.

Internal Funding Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (PSCoR) - posts RFP
PSCoR is an annual Research Office program that provides funding for research that will leverage external funding opportunities. As a condition of the award, each PI is required to submit a proposal to an external agency. Please note that this solicitation is limited to proposals that are requesting funding in support of a re-submission of a federal agency application. The PI should email the proposal to Dr. Mustafa by May 12.

Internal WVU Technology Integration grant available
Application deadline approaches for technology integration grants Academic Innovation is offering six grants up to $2,000 to encourage the adoption of educational tools/technologies that will enhance student learning. Full-time faculty may propose integrating an emerging educational technology or utilizing an existing technology (e.g. document camera) in an innovative way. Projects that directly incorporate graduate teaching assistants are encouraged. This technology must be implemented into a course in the 2015-16 academic year. The deadline to apply is Friday (April 17). For guidelines and expectations, visit the Teaching and Learning Commons website at the link above.
