Youngsters make donation to fight pediatric cancer

Two enterprising third graders hope to make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer. Elana Acciavatti(left) and Paige Conrad(right) made bracelets and sold them in Acciavatti’s front yard last weekend to benefit pediatric cancer patients at WVU. They raised $15 and 10 cents for the Pediatric Cancer Care and Research Fund at the MBRCC. Elana is the daughter of Lori Acciavatti, MBRCC’s professional technologist.
Paige is the daughter of Stephanie Ballard Conrad of the WV Clinical & Translational Science Institute.

More Directory Photo Dates Announced:
The MBRCC has made arrangements with the HSC photographer to take professional headshots for the Cancer Center website and the directory on September 28 from 10 - 11 AM and September 29 from 2P to 3P. If you don’t currently have a personal photo on the MBRCC website and the directory, or your current one is dated, please take advantage of this opportunity to have a professional picture taken by sending an email to mbrcc@hsc.wvu.edu indicating your preferred 10 minute time slot within that scheduled hour. If these times don’t work for you, please suggest a better time and we will do our best to accommodate that. Photos will be taken on the ground floor of HSC in the Photographic Services G-290 office.
We have a great and diversified team of dedicated professionals, genuinely and steadfastly committed to providing hope and a better life for the cancer patients we serve. We are proud to display the photos of our team and the roles each of us play on our website and directory. |
