WVU Cancer Institute phonathon begins

The WVU Foundation is conducting a phonathon to benefit the WVU Cancer Institute from June 27 to July 10. Callers will be sharing various funding opportunities in which individuals can invest and join the Cancer Institute in its mission to provide high-quality care for patients and their loved ones. The Institute’s funding priorities include Bonnie’s Bus. We need to purchase a new Bus and provide support to help with the operational costs associated with the mobile mammography vehicle. Additional funding priorities include these service and outreach programs – Comfort Fund, Huggins Fund, Let the Journey Begin, BRA Day, Camp Kesem and Soup for the Soul. If you are a recipient of a phone call on behalf of and to benefit the Cancer Institute, please know that we appreciate your time and any interest in our cause.
