Clarksburg middle school students donate totes for breast cancer patients


Students at Mountaineer Middle School and WI Middle School in Clarksburg have put together more than 80 chemo totes filled with goodies for breast cancer patients at the WVU Cancer Institute.

Bob Huggins Fish Fry set for Feb 3

The 2017 Bob Huggins Fish Fry, presented by Little General Stores, will be from 6:30P-9:30P on Feb. 3 at Mylan Park in Morgantown. This special evening featuring sports legends, Mardi Gras festivities, live music and more, will benefit the Remember the Miners Scholars Program and the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Endowment Fund at the WVU Cancer Institute.

Four Cancer Institute clinical staff members to participate in Pivotal Leadership Academy class

Members of WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals’ 2017 Pivotal Leadership Academy (PLA) have been announced and they include four professionals from the WVU Cancer Institute – Kim Belcher, Spiritual Care and Education; Lisa Cordero, Betty Puskar Breast Care Center; and Kim Moats and Brooke Gobel of Oncology Services.
