WVU Women's Soccer 4 vs 4 Small Sided Tournament to benefit Betty Puskar Breast Care Center

WVU Women's Soccer wants you to help kick breast cancer. 4 vs. 4 Small Sided Tournament. Sunday March 8th in the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility.
(Located next to Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium)

Make a team of 4 with two of your soccer playing friends and a WVU Women's Soccer Member. Tournament is open to boys and girls in grades three through eight.  There will be an open division for college age and up.  Teams can be male, female or co-ed.  (If you would like a fourth team member as a sub for your team, please add $25 to your registration)

*Due to NCAA regulations no individuals in high school may participate*

All proceeds benefit the Betty Puskar Breast Care Center

Nominations now being accepted for Vice President’s Awards

The annual Vice President's Awards Committee is now accepting nominations. The awards are an opportunity to honor and recognize employees at the WVU Health Sciences Center. Potential nominees include faculty and staff members who excel in their positions, who exhibit the true spirit of One WVU and who contribute to the clinical, educational, research and outreach missions. Nominations are being accepted now through Sunday, March 1. The Vice President’s Awards include staff, faculty and team awards, each of which have specific criteria. Pilot Project Program
The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to support basic and translational pilot projects focused on the tumor microenvironment which utilize our research cores, enable acquisition of preliminary data for a federal grant application, and cultivate a team of new investigators as project PL’s for the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence. WVU Libraries and the Teaching and Learning Commons offer Open Educational Resources grants – WVU Libraries and the Teaching and Learning Commons are continuing their partnership to support the use of and the development of Open Educational Resources through a grant program for instructors. The grant’s aim is to encourage development of alternatives to high-cost textbooks, lower the cost of college attendance for students and support faculty who wish to implement new pedagogical models for classroom instruction.
