Frisch Named To Review Committee For DoD Ovarian Cancer Research Program

Steven M. Frisch, Ph.D., Professor of Biochemistry at WVU School of Medicine, has been invited to be a member of the Department of Defense Ovarian Cancer Research Program Review Committee, for an annual term, beginning September 01, 2020.

Membership on a review section represents a major commitment of professional time and energy as well as a unique opportunity to contribute to the national biomedical research effort. These functions are of great value to medical and allied research in this country.

This year, out of an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to host the Pink Party virtually. Fellow supporters and friends of the WVU Cancer Institute can safely support Bonnie’s Bus and the women of West Virginia remotely, all while enjoying a fully interactive experience including special presentations, contests and auction.

Wellness Center / HSC Wellness Studio updates 

Both the Wellness Center and HSC Wellness Studio are open for general exercise use — COVID-19 social distancing guidelines are in place, including limited capacity. Masks are expected to be worn at all times in both locations, even while exercising.
