Seven undergraduate students have come to WVU Cancer Institute’s Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center Research Laboratories to complete cancer research internships. The highly competitive Summer Research Internship Program at the Cancer Institute provides funding and research opportunities for undergraduate students who want to pursue careers in cancer research and medicine.  Students receive a stipend and are paired with a WVU Cancer Institute scientist for a 10-week research project. This summer, our interns are hosted in labs of Drs. Elena Pugacheva, Steven Frisch, Lori Hazlehurst, Michael Hu, Lan Guo, Sonikpreet Aulakh, and Paul Lockman, respectively.

Please welcome these students to campus:

Ashley Eby, Morgan Glass and Aryon Marshall are all students at West Virginia University, Adam Bobak and Brianne Falatovich are students at Seton Hill University, Lev Ivanov studies at the University of Pittsburgh, and Caitlin Cowell comes from Harvard College.
