Blood Donors Urgently Needed

The American Red Cross has a severe blood shortage. All blood types are needed, especially type O. Donations are crucial to support patients’ ongoing medical needs and unforeseen emergencies, including those at WVU Medicine hospitals, especially as the number of trauma cases, organ transplants, and elective surgeries rise.

NIH Funding or Other Announcements

NSF Pre-award and Post-award Disclosures Relating to the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending Support

NSF has developed a disclosure table to identify where these disclosures must be provided in proposals as well as in project reports. Researchers may begin using this resource immediately to assist with completing the relevant proposal and project report sections. A revised Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) will be released this week with an effective date of October 4, 2021, and the disclosures table will be included in this revised version.


Teaching Scholars Program set for September 2021 through May 2022 

The Teaching Scholars Program via Zoom focuses on developing educational theories/technologies as well as promoting educational skills, critical thinking, and innovative approaches among WVU Health Sciences Center faculty. This program is open to faculty on all WVU Campuses. Applications are due Aug. 13.
